Although he didn’t go as far as knocking it, the former One Direction member told GQ in 2018, “I’d rather be sitting at my house, doing something productive, than dressing up in really expensive clothes and being photographed on a red carpet.”

Gwyneth Paltrowfor one, returned to the event in 2017, just four years after she admitted to USA Today that her past experience was “so un-fun,” “boiling” and “too crowded.” She emphasized, “I did not enjoy it at all.”
