Two clubs — including a Premier League powerhouse — have reportedly reached out to Rafael Leao’s camp to explore the possibility of a transfer next summer, but Milan remain confident that the Portuguese star will be a central figure in their new project.
Often criticised for his inconsistency, the forward has once again reached double figures in both goals and assists for the fourth consecutive season at San Siro, following his goal against Genoa.

In what many have described as his most underwhelming campaign since joining the Rossoneri, Leao has still managed to tally 12 goals and 13 assists across all competitions — a further testament to his immense potential, which Milan are determined to nurture rather than lose.
Milan take clear stance on Leao’s future amid interest from Premier League
While the club has been locked in tough negotiations in recent months over contract renewals for Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan, they view Leao’s situation as entirely different.
With his current deal running until 2028, Calciomercato.com reports that Milan are in no rush to revisit terms with the Portugal international, particularly with a €175 million release clause in place as protection.

Although Chelsea and Al-Nassr have reportedly initiated contact with Leao’s entourage to gauge his interest in a potential move, these approaches have not caused alarm within the club.
In fact, the player himself is said to have reaffirmed his desire to stay and win more trophies with Milan in his latest conversations with the management.
