Simone Inzaghi is now officially the new coach of Al-Hilal after the Saudi Pro League side announced him as ‘the Italian Genius.’
The coach left Inter after four seasons where he won one Serie A title, two editions of the Coppa Italia, three Italian Super Cups and reached two Champions League Finals.
He walked away for this new experience, where he will reportedly be the highest-paid coach in the world at €30m per season including various bonuses and add-ons.
A statement on the club website notes this is a two-year contract.

According to Sky Sport Italia, that video was filmed at a hotel in Paris.

His coaching career with the Saudi team will begin at the Club World Cup in the USA, where they are scheduled to face Real Madrid on June 18, then RB Salzburg on June 23 and Pachuca on June 27.

It was noted by Tuttomercatoweb that while Al-Hilal played audio of someone commentating on an Inzaghi goal during their presentation video, it was in fact a goal scored by his brother Pippo for Milan in 2007.
