Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently took to Instagram to put up a hot post bashing what she calls the latest antics of the Trump administration, such as awarding medals to parents with six children. According to her, such a medal ends in itself with regard to the concern that it has for the children, and for parents. The post created a storm of comments from people’s perspectives of women’s rights to political hypocrisy in the actions of such leaders.

The post hit relatively hard, pointing to the irony of telling people that the more children you have, the less you will be deprived of support systems. The comments? Oh man, they were a mess in the best way. Some have jumped to his defense like @cindyswartwood_-who made a bold statement declaring, “He needs to be removed from office.” That’s all before the chain of replies in the vein of “yep January 2029 😂” and another firing back, “or Maybe Jan 2033!” Chaotic energy, but that’s politics in 2024 for ya.
Then this was posted by an @judytarasek who really wasn’t having any. “Its none of governments concern whether you have children or not. Tell him to shove his medal.” Short, blunt, no-nonsense stuff. That’s the kind of energy that gets you likes. Meanwhile, @spitubex would clinch a little praise for Clinton with the following quote: “You warned us from the start; truly wish you were president.” But, of course, replies couldn’t resist throwing shade, “she should run again; we really need a good laugh watching her lose again would be hilarious 😂” Ouch.
The real drama began with @razorbackate_21, saying, “Literal insanity. Protect yourself and the women around you ladies.” That was from the start. Someone brought up ‘Bill Clinton’s scandals; another fired back about Trump’s Stormy Daniels mess, and all of a sudden the whole conversation became about who’s-for-woman rights. Just how one would define the internet.
Then came @doretha.reeves1, who stated just how much less $5000 actually covers to raise a kid: “It would take 40000 just to pay that bill. $250 a week in childcare, 17 years worth of food and clothes and then college expenses.” Another said, “he’s taken us back to the 1800s,” and honestly? Mood.
The wildest take of all might’ve come from @ms.khenry, who said, ‘He wants white women to populate even more.’ No explanation, just dropped and left the scene. Meanwhile, @sweet.poison6969 stepped into the action with, “Only the poorly educated will think this is a good deal 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂,” which, fair.
This was all such a mix of frustration, sarcasm, and straight-up tiredness. Some, like @grammytonine wished Clinton to just disappear quietly, while another, @jritchie.ctas colored his feelings about her with “shining ✨” through the mess.

This post proved the only thing by the end-peoples have stirred. Be it reproductive rights, invading government, or just the old mudslinging of politics-the noise was loud, messy, and human. Honestly? That is entertaining. Or depressing, depending on whom you ask.
