Lucio hospitalized in Brazil: several burns for the former Inter and Juventus

Hours of apprehension for Lucio, a former Inter and Juventus defender. Today 47 years old, the Brazilian was hospitalized on Thursday in Brasilia with burns in various parts of the body after a domestic accident. The worst, however, for one of the heroes of the Triplete in 2010 seems to be behind him. The hospital has in fact issued a statement in which clarity is clarified on its conditions, defined as improving. The hospital structure reassured the fans of the former defender, underlining how Lucio is “stable, conscious and under constant observation”. He will therefore have to be checked for other days before he can leave the hospital and return home. Few details leaked on what happened to the Brazilian, except for the random nature of his accident. World champion in 2002, he also played with San Paulo, Palmeiras, Internacional, Bayer and Bayern. He boasts in his palmares three Bundesliga, two confederations and that historic ride in the Nerazzurri when, led by Mourinho, he was a pillar of that team that won everything in a year. He said goodbye to professional football in 2019.
